The modem doesnt have ethrernet but i heard something about sharing the connection and using the computer as the router.

Is it possible if it is not i have wasted money

It is possible to share the internet connection through the computer to the router, but you will need to turn on ICS (Internet Connection Sharing in the main computer and then connect the computer to the router using ethernet cable. Plug the cable into one of the routers 4 ethernet ports, NOT into the WAN (Internet) port.

Then on the other computers you will need to set them up as connecting to the internet through another computer, and that should do it.


I would like to add that everything would work alot better and be alot easier to setup if you just purchased or exchanged your USB modem for a modem with a ethernet connection.
