Just a quick question

Every site i goto to find out my ip address it seems to be different, now i need to find out my ip address as im gonna run a web server, just for me and my m8es, and yes i know i shuld have static, but i dont, my ip adress doesnt change often, as its neva disconnected, and i can find it out anyway,just need a good site to do this

Well if you go to http://dyndns.com you can sign up for a free account and put a domain name to your system which using their free service will map a URL to your IP whatever it is!..

Basically when your computer it online it will send them an IP and they will dynamically update your DNS entry so the a URL is mapped to your computer dynamically. So no need for a "static" IP.. It works well for small systems.

Your domain will be something like, yourname.getmyip.com

Even easier.

Click Start(assuming you're running Windows)
Run
Type in CMD and hit enter.
Type in ipconfig /all
hit Enter.
