Yeah, what do they have?
They have sbc dial for their e-amil, which is what I have, but mine is only at 26.6 kbps but theirs is 100 mbps. WHY?

we live in pahrump, NV so there is NO T1 and T3 and there is NO DSL all it is is dial up and satilite, and I know that there is absolutly no satilite in the school. it costs 100 dollars for each 8 computers, and there is about 300. Did they use a router?

j/w.

btw im in school right now.

Is their any way to allow individual 'internal' IP addresses (10.0.0.x) to pass from the LAN to the server on the DMZ of my firewall?

I have a firewall (SonicWall Pro100) and a server I built which does website filtering. The server is connected to the DMZ port of the firewall. Whenever it logs websites that have been blocked from the LAN computers, it always shows the offending IP address as the firewall's IP address, rather than the individual computer's IP addresses behind the firewall on the LAN side.

I'd like to be able to pinpoint specifically which LAN computer was attempting to bring up a bad site, but can't because it always shows the firewall's IP in the server's log file.

Any thoughts? Thanks...

my computer detects my wireless signal. but it has "no connectivity" the wireless modem is enabled. it is set to auto detect the IP address. the signal strength is excellent. I don't know what else to try. I am using my netgear wireless router to connect 2 desktops to the internet (the wireless router is connected to the modem, and I have 2 cat 5 cables going from the router to the 2 towers) Is this why the laptop will not connect or detect the IP address?

I have moved in with a roomate who already had a wireless router. I connected on my laptop with no problems, but when I went to set up my desktop, it won't connect to any browsers. The wireless connection is up and on excellent signal strength, but it keeps saying there is no server to connect. How do I fix this? I've tried rebooting the modem and router and that doesn't help.

Does my IP change if I change my ISP, despite using the same phone line, or does it, or part of it remain the same? How can I see my own IP? Is there a way I can hide my IP or display a false one for web sites that store or see my IP? Is there any software that helps? Thank you

I would like to add his domain to the work domain so he will not lose anything and he can have full access to our network. Does anyone have any ideas?
