Yeah, what do they have?
They have sbc dial for their e-amil, which is what I have, but mine is only at 26.6 kbps but theirs is 100 mbps. WHY?

we live in pahrump, NV so there is NO T1 and T3 and there is NO DSL all it is is dial up and satilite, and I know that there is absolutly no satilite in the school. it costs 100 dollars for each 8 computers, and there is about 300. Did they use a router?

they do not have a 100mbs connection , your probably moving your mouse over the network icon and seeing 100mbs . thinking that's your Internet connection. it's not , it's your NETWORK connection . two different things ! . your network card can transmit
data up to 100mbs over the network . ( doubt if it is ) your Internet is still what ever the bottle neck allows

you can ask the admin for assistance on how you can speed it up. but if you want you can go to the control panel and under modem you can adjust the speed from there.

commercial dsl is available everywhere. you can't get dsl home version from sbc in that area, but they have commercial available.
