Life would go on, things would not be the same as now, but life seemed to exist pretty good before they came along, so should they go away, we would all still survive, well......expect those addicted to myspace! LOL

Wasn't that long ago that we didn't have the pc, or video games for that matter.

Have to say, it was ok then. You felt like things were normal.

First of all, we had electricity, traffic was normal, and people had less distrations so it felt like there were less accidents. Companies communicated just fine by phone or, if necessary, fax. They used purchase orders, and invoices just like we do now.

For activities, we got together at people's houses, had dinner with their family, listened to music with the other kids, made plans to build rocket ships to the moon (hey, it worked!), went fishing (for real), had dances, social events, made crafts, became hobbyists, etc. We played chess with a friend, or tried to teach your sister or whoever was around. Checkers or a card games was avalable arywhere anytime someone else was around.

I was raised on a farm, so we rode horses, raised cattle, and partied with my friends a lot (most of the time without alcohol or drugs). Played sports, listened to music, went to concerts like Rod Stewart, The Who, Aerosmith (hey! they're still around!). Worked part-time to earn money (at a nearby Cotton Gin). Went on vacation with cousins. Had family reunions with all the relatives. Joined clubs like the ski club. Learned to scuba dive.

And wrote letters to far away friends, even pen pals overseas.

Nothing would be the same. Power, lighting, business, stock markets etc: etc: -- all run by computers, Man cannot cope with running the world how it is today, without computers.

And for the anti-pc freaks where would we be without them?!?!?

To the future of computers! *cheer*

There would be more pollution, more traffic accidents, and more traffic fatalities. Because we would be out looking for fun and excitement. So by owning a computer we are saving lives.
