Routers are not dependent on any computer OS or ISP to work. I prefer Dlink myself, but others like Linksys, netgear or a number of other brands available.

i would recommend netgear i had nothing but problems with the linksys that i had and they claim to be part of the cisco company and they are supposed to be good guess not

Get an enhanced 802.11N router, it can transmit many hundreds of MBS!!!
