i have brought a hp touch smart pc and in pc world i was told it had a tv card. it dose have a antener port at the back but i only get 2 chanels of that. is there way to get more throught the internet.

We bought a new laptop for our son 4 christmas.

I set it up a month ago. Pulled it out last night to install bt home hub broard band, but cany get passed the log-in page.

Its asking for a password. I presume i put one in when i set it up, but stupidly i cant remember it.

Can i somehow skip this or over-ride or start set up again??

All thats on the screen is my sons name with his logo picture, under that is asking for the password.
To the right of the screen is options for shutting down.

That is all. Please help x

I heard somewhere that the AMD processor running at 3ghz is equal to an intel processor running at around 4.4ghz ( or somewhere around that). Is this true?

And thruthfully is it better to purchase an AMD or intel even though AMD is cheaper.

I tryed to upgrade my windows 98 to windows xp home eddition and my computer wouldnt accept it . All kind of stuff is wronge ,no space in my hard disk, missing mscoree dll.file the color wont change in the display from 16 scan disk wont register and many more I still can go to the internet but the color and video is fuzzy and blurr Ive been on this computer for a week now and havnt accomplished anything but my sound back. please help , every site I go to for help send me to somwhere that I have to pay. If I pay for everything I need to fix this computer I could have bought a new computer just spent 100$ on windows xp that I thought would look over or repair these problems .If you have any info. PLEASE, HELP!!!

i have shifted from adsl to cable broadband. My previous Dlink adsl modem/router is of no use now. I want to have wireless connection to my desktop which is in a different room. what are the best options: cable modem with wl router or stand alone wl router? my computer crashed and nothing would show on the screen, it was if the computer was not recognizing the screen. I'm running on 7800gt SLI, I cleaned out the computer with compressed air and connected everything back. The computer started up fine and displayed fine on the screen all the way until the login screen and than crashed again and gave me the same problem where it does not display on the screen. I have tried everything I can think of and I don't have the money to have a shop look at it, do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help :)
