ive been wanting to buy a usb stick
witch is 512 mb
and theres another one that is 2 gb
and the 512 mb is more expensive witch one do u rather i buy

and how much is i gb equal to

I don't know if this is a dumb question or not..but i was just wondering if there was any site you could go on to search the entire internet for pictures. I know there's like, flickr, photobucket, etc, but those only have pictures that people have uploaded to their site. And yahoo and google doesn't really search sites like that and every site that there is...do you know what i'm trying to say?

I have basic computer knowledge, but, when it comes to the maintence of one... I'm clueless.

I wanting to buy a laptop for my husband & myself for Christmas, we'll use it for the internet, shopping, looking up information, office word, downloading pictures from camera, just simple stuff....

My question is, does it matter what kind I get?

Are laptops something you have to up grade, like cars, take 'em in for service & up to date?

In a couple of years, do I need to buy all this extra stuff to make it faster & better?

Are laptops like cars, loses value, the newer the better?

Help!!!

In the spring my friend got a Very nice very expensive Hp desktop computer but hasn't got time until yesterday to get everything setup, she asked me to help because i know alot about computers and i called a help number and she helped me but then i got redirected to a website to buy a 150 dollar version of Microsoft Office and i ask the lady i was talking to if i had to buy this and she said yes they only downloaded the trail version on your computer and you have to buy the full version so i was like are you kidding me this is the cheapest and she asked if i was a student and i said yes and she told me i could get a version for 60 dollars... is there any cheaper version i could get that still had Word, Excel, and powerpoint???

ok, so my school blocked every single proxy. So i downloaded firefox and went to https://www.vtunnel.com, and used that to get past the blocks. But now its not working and it says http error or something like that. There has to be someway to get past the blocks WITHOUT figuring out the admin password, does anyone know how? Please, I really need to know this! Dont just tell me I could get in trouble or what ever, because if you knew my principle youd know that he wont do anything about it. Anyone know what I should do?

i am unable to open any folder, mycomputer, mydocuments .But MSOFFICE applications are accessible.Also i am using a corrupted windows xp .I want to empty the c drive and then want to reinstall the xp again.
I want to know that how to empty the c drive and is there some"bootable CD" required to install new xp on c drive in this situation?
Please tell me how to empty the c drive completely?
Also ho to install a new xp on c drive?
Is is possible that i keep all my important data on d drive and then format(empty) the c drive and then use a bootable cd to install a new xp OS.
please suggest.

I know this is a stupid question.I too know that practice makes a man good programer.But when i practice i feel boredom,though i am prety good when it comes to other things that involve logic .I am quite much interested in logic and have a good interest in things that involve logic and thinking but when it comes to programming THUMBS DOWN.
I have a good knowledge of JAVA,C,C++ and am a novice at visual basic .NET 2005.
I try to program java using notepad but now i am thinking to move to netbeans or eclipse.Plz tell me how can i be a better programmer besides doing a lot of practice.

Both drives have Windows XP installed and have partitions C: D: and E:. How can I connect them in my computer, boot windows from one of them and have the other one as well? See, I need to transfer files from the one to the other. How can I make my PC know which drive to boot from since SATA uses no jumpers?

i'm thinking of upgrading the RAM on my pc from either 512 mb or 1 gb (dont remember) to 4GB. I've already ordered a new heatsink and cooling device, because my current one is just what came with the machine, but im worried about my current power supply not being powerful enough to take it. how can i check what kinda power supply my current pc is at?

ok right now my sis's HP lap top almost died completely..
anyways its because the charger had come loose off of the second pat if u have a pavilion u should know what it is. anyways Right now its almost completely outta juice lol i mean im on it but i wanna know if i can be on it or should i let it charge?
I knw i should let t charge but lets say i sty on it.. will it like mess it up?
