i keep getting small electric shocks from the sides and underneath of my laptop- there not very big and dont hurt much- is this normal? How can i stop it? Also ive noticed if i touch the radiator while on my laptop i get a bigger shock- like the kinda shock you get when you are static and touch someone to annoy them- is this normal or is there something wrong with my laptop? thanks for your answers in advance x

Is it possible to have 2 computers connected to the same cable outlet, both with working internet? What supplies would I need? How would I go about doing that? Would it cost?

I have Comcast, if that is relevant to my question. Thank you for any help you can give.

I've been spelling a character's name wrong this whole time, and i'm almost finished. Instead of going back through and changing each time i used it, is there a shortcut i can use to change the name to the correct spelling?

Also, my headers and footers do not offer a Last Name Page # option, and that's what my teacher wants. How do i make it that way?

every time i try to write in columns, the sentence continues in the 2nd column, i want it to go straight down it goes like this:

mary had a little lamb it's fleece as white as snow.

how do i make it go like this:

I am looking for a programing code other then batch which will allow me to delete files and folders

I tried c to complicated and buggy also c is not very well documented.

I also tried python but theres no way to store it as a exe so that it would run from my u3 usb drive.

Batch is boring.

pl not too sure how that works.

Visual basics is cool but thats also easy to mess up.

I guess theres no hope for me.

So my questions is how can i delete files and folders in a easy to compile code that works on win32 (xp pro) and pref have the exe extension.

How do I get a song to automatically play when I view the slide show? I want the song to keep playing when I go to the next slides and I don't want to have to keep clicking on the little speaker on every slide.

I switched out 2 rams from two 256 MB chips to a 516 MB Chips. Then, i took the 516 mb chip out and put the 256 mb one because my brother wanted it and we made a deal and well...
anyways
i put my 256 MB chips back and i turn it on and it goes to the blue hp screen as always but then it goes black and says
SYSTEM BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

Okay, yesterday I downgraded from Vista to XP home edition..
It took me a long time to do this because whenever i plugged in the xp cd and installed it said that i need to right to "upgrade to xp" so i needed to have an older cd..like windows 95' 98' 2000' etc..
So i went out looking for our OLD windows 95' cd..after i found it i plugged it in..and it let me install my windows xp normally..like it usually would.
After the installation everything was PERFECT..runned smooth.
When i was ready to hook back up to our DSL internet (Qwest..with a wireless router and modem)
so when i tried to hook up to our wireless internet ...which is usually in the bottom right hand corner.
i looked down and there was no ...well..no 2 little computer screen with an X over them..the wifi symbol
I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO DO!!!
the only way i can get online is by hooking it up by the cord..but we have a laptop, so i don't want to

IF YOU KNOW WHAT IS WRONG, OR NO HOW TO FIX THIS PLEASE HELP.!!!

i am putting together a system for my self with $600, and with that kind of money will have to go mid range with both cpu + gpu or i could chose, so should i get a E6750 core 2 duo with 2.66ghz,4mb cache, 1333bus and a nvidia 8400gs card, or should i get a dual-core 1.6 ghz,1mb cache, 800bus with a 8800gts, all i want to play is nfs prostreet, the upcoming gta4 and yea might want to play crysis on midium settings.

another question, how does the gma 3000 onboard graphics compare up to nvidia's 8400gs, if its almost the same i might be able to hold up until the 8800gtx comes down too $300. :)

Need to convert my Mpeg’s to DVD to watch at home

I need software that can burn DVDs for my home player from downloaded files off the internet. Free is nice but I would pay for a Simple (as in one step) solution. Please don’t say Nero. And this is for home use not an ipod or what not.
