go to control panel and then choose internet options and then go to content and look at the content advisor and then click enable then if it the first time using it it will ask you to make a password then it will go to a menu and at the menu go to approved sites and there you can type in a website and you can ether block or allow the website but when you type the website in the "Allow this website" box and on the right side to buttons will become enabled to be used and then click never and there you go the web site is blocked. and when you go to the web address bar and type that web site and click go it will not load a window will pop and say it is blocked by content advisor.

There you go i hoped it helped you out.

I have repeatedly uninstalled ask.com from my computer and I never use it. Somehow it continues to make changes to my browser both in Firefox and Chrome. I feel violated.

go to the page you want as a home page

upper right corner - click on TOOLS

choose Internet options

Under the Home Page Box
choose - USE CURRENT
APPLY - at the bottom
CLOSE

and next time you open the internet - should be that page

all the best

Go to internet options in internet explorer if thats what you are using and then change the homepage. Get rid of the ask toolbar if you have it.
