I made a hundred-page PowerPoint presentation of children songs. I placed the background music of each song in the corresponding slide in presentation. My problem is, when I burned my presentation into a CD, the songs' mp3 audios wont play when I tried to click the "horn" icon.

I have seen many PowerPoint presentations in the internet with all audios intact. I learned that as long as the file source of the audio is accessible, the audio will play well, but I have tried everything but mine doesn't work. There must be something wrong along the way.

I have seen PowerPoint presentations in CD's too, and with all the audio in perfect synchronization.

I learned some synchronization tips before. My sole problem is how to burn my presentations into a CD with all the audios embedded.

Thank you so much! ^_^

I have made a slideshow and saved it on to a recordable dvd. The disc works on the computer I made it on (which has Windows Vista) but when I put it on my PC or dvd player it is saying the disc is empty!!!

Is there any way I can get the other players to play my disc?

When it comes to Java networking, I'm pretty clueless. I am aware of ServerSocket and Socket.
I can get two instances of my program running, and one be the server and the other the client. The one with the server I run a client off of as well, and the one that is the client I only run an instance of the client. I am able to successfully connect, but the second I try and read information sent from the server, it locks up. This happens when I use the "read()" and "readLine()" methods.
I am trying to get basic networking just to start--a communication between two JTextAreas between two different users. Basically, I'm trying to get a chat program working for the time being, and as soon as that's working, I'm confident I can get the competitive functionality of two games over the network running smoothly.

Do you know of any sources of a basic Server/Client program with two JTextAreas or any good referances to basic Java networking? Or do you have any suggestions to my issue?

i had a idea where i can take my router and hook it up to a lager antenna and this would allow me to hook a computer up to my car so it can be use as an anti theft system. the only thing is that a wirless router can only go as far as a couple of blocks. would there be a lot of power to get the gain i want?? would i have to use a too large antenna? thanks a lot!!!!!

I have tried looping objects in a single slide so they just appear and/or disappear in a single click according to my preferences. But I have not figured out yet how to loop all slides in a presentation.

Hi. I know how to use a computer..just the basics though. I bought my 13 year old a Dell Inspiron from a friend that only had it for about a month and didn't use it but a couple of times(got a great deal). But the only thing that came with it is the cord to plug it into the wall. What other things do I need to get to go with it..and there are a few pictures that the guy took that are on it. I want it to appear new(not trying to trick him into believing that it's brand new but just think it would be best to give it to him with nothing on it that belongs to someone else).Any suggestions on what I should do and how do I go about it? Do I need extra cords or software?

with a static crackly type noise over the music. The tracks sound fine on my PC & iPod so I'm guessing it is the CD burner. I've also had some problems on DVDs I've burned. The PC is under a year old. What do you recommend? Do I need a new rewriter or can it be cleaned? TIA

I have EZ trust antivirus. It takes forever to scan. I dont think its working very well, either. I changed some things on the firewall yesterday and ever since then I've been having so many problems with the computer. Its funny, cause I changed stuff to protect the computer more, but it just messed it up. Finally got most of the kinks worked out.

So a while ago, I got spybot S&D. It works fine but forgot I had it. This week, I kept getting this yellow bar at the top of IE that said your computer might be infected with spyware, click here to fix. Or something like that. I never clicked it cause I dont know if it was my computer telling me that or some random internet thing. So I scanned my comp with ez. I googled spyware and found spyware doctor (pc tools) and that stuff said it was a GREAT thing. So I downloaded it. Then after it found problems, it wanted MONEY to fix it! That just ticked me off a little. I bought it and have been using it this week. Hold for more..
