it seems it has its own anti virus (NOD32), but i also have AVG internet security, can i keep both on the computer or should i eliminate the NOD32? Thanks for all your help.

You only need one anti-virus software. If you like AVG, you can delete/uninstall NOD32.

You can have multiple firewall but you can only have one anti-virus and anti-spyware.

For me, I would use AVG internet security and uninstall the NOD32. One fully integrated security suite is better than binding bit & pievces by yourself.

You should visit http://www.infosec.gov.hk which would provide some basic in looking after your computer.

nod32 has better detection rates than avg.

keeping both will slow down your computer, Keep the one which is Genuine.

I would use Avast before any other, but only keep one, because AV programs do NOT like each other.
