Hello, my PC has currently been messed up or just isn't functional. Well an infection notice kept popping up on my screen. Then the Computer was skipping and slow so i restarted my comp, a few mins later it comes up the the screen start safe mode, safe mode with command prompt, start windows normally, etc. Well i click safe mode and it doesn't want to start up in safe mode what it does is comes back to the selecting screen, any suggestions?

I'm making a spreadsheet to track finances on game, and I would like to share the file with others so that they can test it out and give me feedback.

I've seen other people create spreadsheets, and all you have to do is click the link and it opens in Microsoft Excel. Where can I upload a file (for free) and share the url with others?

at some point along the line my computer got a hardcore virus
now nothing except firefox will work
i tried to run different programs to try and clean it up but nothing even started

I downloaded AVG for the first time a few days ago, and my question is: When a virus / trojan / worm is in the virus vault, is it still a threat for my computer? Are they deleted or they're still in my system? If not, can I delete them without having any problems opening some programs? Why don't the virus get automatically deleted and instead they're in the virus vault? Can someone explain this to me?

Hi everyone,
I recently brough a router to hook my desktop with my laptop. But i dont have an ethernet port on my desktop.. are there any other ways i can connect my laptop to my desktop's internet wirelessly?? i do have a cable modem with me..

I had over 3000 pics on yahoo photos, then they were closing and suggested that I transfer them to flickr. So I did and have been enjoying Flickr very much.

But now I just got an email saying that my trial period has expired and that I have to pay an annual fee to get access to my pics back!!! Well I figured that yahoo photos was just going through updates or enhancing their site, but it's been four months!!!

And wait did you know that Yahoo OWNS Flickr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If that aint the shadiest thing I've ever seen... Is yahoo gonna start trying to find ways to charge everyone for their services?

I want to print off like six of these poems I've got so that they all look the same and I want to be able to just print them off on one peice of paper. I want to make book markers out of them so there's only about three words to a line and about ten lines or so...i just don't know how to get them on the page side by side
and i don't want to just type it all over and over i want them to all look identical?

I am currently looking at laptops for college and have came to an impass. I have selected all the other features I need / want, but when it comes to the hard drive (i want a dual drive config) I cant decide between a 32gb solid state / 320 gb (5400rpm 8mb cache) configuration, 32gb solid state / 200gb (7200rpm 16mb cache configuration or a 200gb (7200rpm 16mb) / 200gb (7200rpm 16mb) RAID 0 configuration. The price difference between the solid state and non solid state options is around $350.

I want to have a fast laptop and i think 200gb of space should be sufficent. Is the increased performance worth the increase in price? are solid state drives really that much better?

Ok, so my CD drive won't open, and there isn't any hole anywhere on the computer to manually open it. So now, I need to pry it open, and at this point, I'm too frustrated to care what happens to my computer. Yes, I know that a paperclip in the hole will open it. I have been staring at it for over an hour now, and I'm telling you that no holes are appearing. Can anybody tell me how to pry open a CD drive?

I read that some people advertise their site with adwords, and get paid through adsense. Somehow they pay less for adwords than the money they get from adsense.

They get their traffic from adwords for the adsense.

How does this work? How is it that they pay less for adwords?
