i was told i could do it with a s0video cable

right-click on your desktop and click on "properties", then click on the Settings tab. There should be a dropdown menu where you can select which available display you want to use. See if that has the TV listed. click on it then hit "apply"

I think that's what I do.

Or Vista premium or Utimate edition
Can not be done with home basic because it does not support dual monitors..but if you have the above then you could just go in a set up the display options. Good Luck.

On your bottom row of keys is a function button, printed in a different color. On you top row of keys is a bunch of symbols in that same color. Hold the function key and press the symbol that most looks like a tv screen, and it should switch between internal, external, svideo and whatnot
