So far everything seems fine . the keyboard just seems a little sticky and when I hit the letters they seem to stick a bit. Will it be okay?

OKeedokee, Shut 'er down and pull the battery to be sure there's no power running through it. Then get yourself a spray bottle full of hot water. Tip the lap top upside down for proper drainage and just spray away for a while. this will dilute and rinse away the wine as well as not allow it to soak any further into the keyboard. Blow it dry with some cannded air, let it sit for a while before re inserting the battery. Viola!! back in busuness. It won't get ALL of the sticky out, need a pro for that, but it'll be much better than it is now.

How to fix a wine catastrophe by Ntl Promo Guy.

1. Remove the floppy disc if you were in the process of recording or saving X rated material. Put the disc in you jacket pocket for safe keeping (nobody EVER looks there).

2. Power down the laptop (Do NOT Swear at it).

3. DO NOT put the laptop in the dishwasher, washing machine, or car wash.

4. Cap the wine bottle (to avoid any further damage).

5. DO NOT put the laptop in the Microwave.

6. C A R E FU L Y put the laptop in its carrying bag, grab the bottle of wine, and your favorite CD, and come on over to my place.

7. If I cant clean up the laptop, at least we can share the wine, test out the mistle toe used in my VERY FIRST Answer to you, and explore the whole "sensitive body parts" thing about lite kissing.

If it's as good as I imagine, maybe I'll go buy you a new laptop!

LOL

Merry Christmas!

I would pop the keyboard out (they all come out) and take it to a computershop and get it cleaned. You can plug in an external keyboard .

no it wont. just wait until the wine dries up. your keyboard will be a lot stikier than it is now. you won't be able to press keys easily.
