I'm making a spreadsheet to track finances on game, and I would like to share the file with others so that they can test it out and give me feedback.

I've seen other people create spreadsheets, and all you have to do is click the link and it opens in Microsoft Excel. Where can I upload a file (for free) and share the url with others?

When I post it on the website once I finish the final version, I can't sit there and e-mail it to every single person that wants it... The game has thousands of players, and the forums have to have at least a hundred active users.

Just take the Excel file and put it as an attachment to an email. Send the email to the others. They will each have a copy they can open.

You can create a Yahoo Group for free and then upload it to the "Files" section. Then you can let people join your group and download the file.

If you're using Microsoft Office 2007, save the spreadsheet as an earlier version - as the file is not compatible with other versions of Excel (unless you download the converter from Microsoft).

The easy way would be to open a Gmail account and use the Google Apps. They Google App spreadsheet let's you share it out to other Gmail users and collaborate on the same file. The best part is that it's all free.
