How can you view the elapsing time on a DVD?

Is there a way to see the seconds and minutes elapsing on a DVD as you watch it on your computer (or on your TV)? Or is there a downloadable program to make it possible for me to do this? I have a Dell PC. Thanks!

Right click on the screen and there is a timmer in the menu. It uses it if you stop a dvd and resume it later from that point.
