Hello I have been infected with a virus from usb drive that disables my task manager and opens my drives in a new windows?I have formatted my C: and reinstalled xp,but still the same problem.I have scanned the whole pc with notron,mcaffee,spyware doctor,adware pro...previx CSI,... formatted and reinstalled xp 3 times...no effect ..please help

ok, my mobo supports Serial ATA (SATA) andPATA....i already have a PATA hdd installed now i bought another one to make my space bigger......the SATA hdd i bought doesen't come with a sata cable, how much will that cost me? and can my pc work if one hdd is PATA and the other one is SATA (my mobo supports both PATA and SATA) pls help

Ther error message I'm getting is:

There doesn't appear to be enough space on the disc to burn this image.

Image size: 2,309,393 Sectors
Disc size: 2,298,496 Sectors

Would you like to continue anyway?

DVD Shrink is set up to shrink the original disc enough for a 4.7G Disk and has worked perfectly for about 80 discs now. Can anyone help me or give me a webpage that will explain it?

It was an email from some bank in South Africa (but the address doesnt really make sense - looks fake) saying that I've been chosen to receive a payment of 15 million US dollars as a next of kin as from a will...it looks v.dodgy to me! It wasnt addressed to anyone so obviously was sent to loads of people...have you ever given out your details then regretted it? Any tips on avoiding this sort of mail?

how do i get rid of an msn virus that sends automatic messages to my friends saying "haha, this guy up my street just slammed his $90k car into a telephone pole!" and other random things. i think its a virus but i dont want u guys saying "uhhhh, just use mcafee" because none of the virus scanners pik it up and i have tried them all. is there a way i can remove it just by deleting maybe the odd system process and perhaps a few of the virus's files?

I bought a win dvr tv tunner some time ago when we got cable we hooked it up I finely got it to scan the chanles but get no picture, and it seems to only look at chanel 4 every time I change and apply it goes right back

My copy of Windows XP Pro says it's for "1-2 CPUs". I'm curious - does this mean it can't legally be installed on a Quad-core Intel Core 2 chip? Secondly, does this mean it *can* be installed on two single-core chips? It's not very clear.
