The dabate is mainly to go with Windows or Leopard. I can't decide, and need help. State WHY you would choose one over the other and WHY it's better.

Go with the MacBook (I am using one right now). The Mac OS is unix based. It is stable and so easy to use, especially compared to Windows Vista. I switched to Mac 4 years ago and have not regretted it once. This year I bought an iMac and MacBook and they both just work. With the Intel Duo Core processors you can run just about anything. The main advantage with Apple products is that the Hardware, OS and Software are all designed by the same company and work together flawlessly. Also, no viruses to worry about either. My opinion is that the choice is pretty much a no-brainer. The Mac blows Windows out of the water.

Definitely get a mac. I had an HP with vista and then i get the black macbook and its so much better. u can use bootcamp and then switch to pc but u cant do that with a pc. the improvements in mac's os are far more advanced than those of windows vista. leopard is supposedly the greatest operating system of all time and with the new features (spaces, bootcamp, etc.) u will love ur mac and definitely get ur money worth plus if theres some reason u need to access a program from pc u can do so easily. don't listen to pc users because they don't realize the greatness of bootcamp. GET A MAC

Mac 100%. Leopard works so much better than vista. I'm on an iMac right now running leopard and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. This is my first mac, I've always used pc's in the past and I will never touch a pc again. Leopard and mac just works so much more smoothly than any windows os or pc. Plus macs don't get viruses.
I also own an hp laptop.. i believe it's the 8000 series which they don't sell any more. I bought it about a year ago. It is HORRIBLE. It runs like a snail and it does not have any spyware or viruses on it. Definitely get the mac. It's worth the extra money. You'll love it.

anything from mac is highly over priced. people are buying the macs because they truely believe they are stable and look pretty.
