I sent this guy a message on Myspace. Now it says "Read". How can you tell if he deleted the message? Would it say "Deleted" instead or is there no way to tell? Does "Read" mean it's still saved?

I've been mutually trying to become someone's friend on MySpace. We know each other and we have both clicked the "add friend" button. As soon as you click it, it states a request has been sent, however the request never gets sent. When I check my requests it says that I have no pending requests. This is an immediate thing (meaning no one has accidentally pressed the wrong button). INone of my friend requests are going through. Please advise.

stops working for about 30 sec, hard drive stops grinding, then boom it grinds away and everything is back to normal, what can this be, ive tried anti virus,norton and spybot search and destroy, what else can this be? 4800+ samsung 500 gig sata2 windows xp x86 sp2 thanks!

my computer picked up a virus somewhere and i tried to get rid of it by downloading a bunch of free anti-virus software. well, none of it seems to be working and i was wondering if there is way to just delete everything on my computer and get it back to the way it was before i got a virus? and how do i do it?

At my work we have an ancient yet expensive inventory counter, the only problem is, the connecting serial cord I'm looking for has the larger serial port connector on both ends. I've looked every where and the only thing I can find is the serial port end with a usb or a big serial port to a small one. Does anyone know where I can find a large double sided?? Thanks

i received the dell 1721 today ( i haven't opened it yet or broke the seal) and we went to best buy to see the size of it and it was huge so i want to return it. if i return it will i get all of the money back and is there a possibility that it will be lost or stolen?

when my computer goes into its screensaver i cant get i back to the normal background like my desktop. it kinda frezzes up i turned the screen on and off and it still didnt work so i have to wait 5-10 minutes just to get to my background... any suggestions or help.??? thankx

Can I upgrade the CPU in my nearly 3 year old Dell Dimension 3000. I have an Intel Celeron 2.4 processor in it. It also has a gig of ram, and a 7200rpm hard drive. Was wondering if i could upgrade it myself? I am very mechanical and good with stuff like this, i just never have done anything this serious to my computer before. The reason I asked, is that I recently purchased a game that takes a 2.6 gigahertz processor, and I didn't realize it till I got it home and installed it and tried to play it. I don't want to buy a new computer if i can help it because i like this computer and its been a great computer for me.

HP reccomends that on a laptop with 4GB RAM, that Vista 64-bit should be used opposed to 32-bit as you will get more performance out of the 64-bit OS. Why is this? And for $160.00 extra is it worth it to upgrade to 64-bit? There are still some drive issues with different software, I know, but is it a good idea to get the 64-bit?

I'm just wondering whats a FREE way to increase the size of pictures while increasing the resolution too, for something like windows movie maker. What i mean is when you increase the size of pictures they get fuzzy, and you can't read lettering. So how do you increase it a lot without making it fuzzy?
