At my work we have an ancient yet expensive inventory counter, the only problem is, the connecting serial cord I'm looking for has the larger serial port connector on both ends. I've looked every where and the only thing I can find is the serial port end with a usb or a big serial port to a small one. Does anyone know where I can find a large double sided?? Thanks

I think you are talking about a DB25 serial cable. You can get them at a number of online places such as usbgear.com. You have to make sure you get the correct configuration on each end: male-male, female-female, male-female.

D Sub is the type...then # of pins 15, 16 or 25, etc.Run a simple search. As in D Sub 25 pin serial cable male/female

You may be looking for a double 25 pin double male or double female serial cable (like a printer cable but has the same connector on both ends). Try www.cablestogo.com, ebay, or do a simple Google search.
If it is the same older style 25 pin printer type cable w/ a male and a female connector you'll find it there easily.
