When I send a friend request on myspace it never gets to my friend and vice versa?

Question

I've been mutually trying to become someone's friend on MySpace. We know each other and we have both clicked the "add friend" button. As soon as you click it, it states a request has been sent, however the request never gets sent. When I check my requests it says that I have no pending requests. This is an immediate thing (meaning no one has accidentally pressed the wrong button). INone of my friend requests are going through. Please advise.

a few people are having that problem.. might be a myspace issue, something is wrong so they have to fix it
