I sent this guy a message on Myspace. Now it says "Read". How can you tell if he deleted the message? Would it say "Deleted" instead or is there no way to tell? Does "Read" mean it's still saved?

These are the notifications granted to you on the messaging system.
"Sent" - means they haven't touched the message
"Read" - means they opened the message, but that's it.
"Replied" - means they've already sent you a message in reply to what you sent them.
"Forwarded" - means they passed the message on to another one of their Myspace friends.
There isn't a display for deletions. Good luck.

read means he sean it u cant tell any of that other sh*t ur wanting lol so yea just send him a nother messageing saying y arnt u sending it back

read means its been read, thats it... it doesn;t say if they delete it or not, i dont think
