okay so on my computer whenever i try to move a file it comes up with a thing saying "you'll need to provide administrator permission to move this file" then i click continue .... then it comes up with another one saying "windows needs your permission to continue" then i have to click ok... is there anyway of turning it off so i can just move files without the boxes coming up??? plz help!

My trusty Epson Stylus RX500 all-in-one has develoiped an unfortunate sheet feeder problem. The paper goes in and starts printing, but one side soon gets stuck and bunches up.

Can this be fixed? If so, how do you suggest I go about it?

Should it be fixed? Is what I would need to do to get it running more trouble than it's worth?

im looking for 1 that is 10mb or less (at least less than 15mb), if its over 15mb, dont bother telling me, im looking for round at 10mb or less. and it must be free. dont say microsoft excel viewer, ive tried that, thats 42mb. and im looking for just a word processor, dont say open office, microsoft office, jarte, or abiword - there all over 20mb. im looking for a simple word processor and simple spreadsheet that is round about 10mb or less(dont bother giving me 1 that is over 15mb).

If a program takes up 334 MB and your computer drive can hold up to 723,561,398,272 Bytes, is the 334 MB program really taking a large amount of space? I want to know because I had a coworker complain to me today that a program that I am using is HUGE and taking up a lot of space. Is he right or can I tell him to stop overreacting?

i want to play .MKVfiles ..in ratio 4:3 so in my monitor i can get full screen without any black lines top or bottem (widescreen) ..i have jetaudio its much better than VLC but can not play MKV files in 4:3 anyway is there any player that i can use and VLC don't have any sound control like 5.1 sound so i really need some thiing good t o play thess files ..

A friend of mine (a computer newbie) just bought a rebuilt computer, her first. The person who sold it to her told her she didn't need an anti-virus program or a spyware program as long as she had a firewall. She thinks he's a computer genius cause he rebuilds them. I have an old computer that I have not used for about four years.I am trying to use it now but I forgot the password to start it.When I connect,it prompts me to enter my password.I have tried all my passwords but none seems to be working.Someone told me to press F1 or F2 immediately the computer is startin to reset the password.

I need someone to explain to me what kind of info is given out to a site wneh I upload a picture to that site. I am dealing with a selling site that I was supended from. I have another account with them but need to upload pictures from my computer to post the item for sale. I need to know (besides IP address) can the site read any codes specific to the picture that can give me away. Besides IP address what other info spicific to my computer is given when I upload a picture to the site. Is the site reading any of my MAC address or is my computer generating any static codes particular to my computer that the site can read to give my ID away? Please don't tell me they track IP because I already know that. I need to know what besides IP can the site track when I upload a picture or is the IP the only thing spicific to my computer that is read by the site. Is the site acutally picking up any specifc info besides IP when it's taking the pic out of my computer that would give my ID away.

Now, I am not completely computer incompetant. I know quite a lot about html, javascript, xml, http, css, etc.

What I DON'T know is the differences between all the domain, hosts, directories... <- THAT confuses me.

I have a paypal account, and i'm not looking for a free website like website.com/yourwebsite name. I want a yourwebsitename.com website. Make sense?

I checked with godaddy, and the price was atsronomical. $500??? I would like something cheap, that I would pay monthly instead of a year payment up front and a good explanation of what I NEED on my website. Not what I MIGHT want.

I recently bought a new Dell Inspiron 1520. At home I prefer to connect it to my external monitor LG Flatron ez T713SH (not LCD), like I used to do with my previous notebook. But with the new Dell, the external monitor is flickering and I can't look at it more than 5 minutes. I tried all setting combinations, installing and uninstalling drivers... but nothing... same result. With my old notebook it worked great (Acer Travelmate 420). Any idea before I must give up my beloved 17'' Flatron?

i want to put the ip adress ok so i scan then right i chose the my SSID then i push left then i use the kind of the web then i put the web key after i want to put the ip adress manually ok after i put my ip but i canot go further if i push right it wont go further if i put manually the ip adress will pick it up automaticlly i want to choose my ip cause if i don't when i test my connection it says that the attempt to obtain on ip adress timed out
