Western Digital for sure.

Use Google's Shopping function to search for:
USB 2.0 2.5" 120Gb Western Digital Hard Drive

(You can specifty the size of the drive of course)

One thing - make sure you specify that it is a 2.5 inch (laptop) hard drive because a 3.5 inch (desktop hard drive) is cheaper, but bigger, and will probably come with an AC power adaptor which NEEDS to be plugged in for operation. For truely portable storage, you want an external laptop hard drive, as it runs off 2 USB ports for data and power.

Anywho, a Western Digital 120gb 2.5" hard drive should suit your needs.

Western Digital are the best in my opinion but Seagate hard drives are pretty good too.

And you don't need to worry about the drive being compatible - it's a standard IDE over USB connection - works with Vista and XP on Desktops and laptops, don't worry.

If you have a used 2.5" drive lying around, you can buy just the USB case to turn it into a portable hard drive. Those can be found for around $10 to $20.
