Yes, you should uninstall the Norton anti-virus program before you install the new one. I would also suggest that you do both chores while you are off-line from the internet. Once you have Live One Care installed, then go on the internet, download the latest virus definition update, and then run a complete scan of your system.

The use of 2 or more anti-virus programs at the same time can cause major conflicts. The 2 scanning engines will fight each other to scan every file that you read, write or execute which can cause a major computer slowdown. For the same reason, using 2 A-Vs can cause you to have less protection from the various malware, not more.
(Using an anti-spyware and a firewall with an anti-virus is good, however and is recommended)

Yes. it would be a good idea if you didn't have 2 on them. You will encounter problems as they tend to work against each other. Just delete one of them once you have the new one installed. Also make sure you use the removal tool in case you have damaged Norton files on your system

No, you don't have to uninstall it, however, leaving both of them installed will slow your computer down. There is the possibility that they may conflict as well. If it were me I would uninstall the one I really didn't want to use, and only keep one installed at a time.

Uninstall the former one and then immediately deploy the hot one. you may do it any opposite direction round, yet from time to time you may have an incompatibility between both courses which will reason you extra complications. in case you do it in that order with out going surfing / operating some thing else, you'll stay truly secure for the length.

To install it? No. To use it with maximum functionality, yes. Norton and Mcafee interfere with eachother.

Yes, or you will have serious conflict with two antivirus program. You can run three or four antispyware without conflict if you have the resources. One will always find what all the others miss.

No need, but norton is a pre-installed software, you can recover it later on. but better to choose any one instead of two.

Those should be able to work simultaneously with the correct configuration but don't mix Norton with others such as McAfee.
