Not really, I mean anything CAN be dangerous these days. If you have it on the right settings and only chat to your friends then it can be okay. But like everything else, just be aware and use caution when posting personal things up. Never post anything you don't want anyone else to see.

actually im not going to say yes or no .. im going to say that it all depends on who you are. If you dont send or accept requests from people you dont know and your page is set on private then no stalker or molester on cereal killer will have access to see your page pictures or anything else that can lead of the finding to the person .. unless you end up going on a phishing site which completely defeats the purpose of what i just said .. and you shouldnt go out to meet someone from over the internet that is about the most ridiculous thing someone could do and then everybodys talking about how how myspace is so bad myspace isnt bad its that foolish people on it, do foolish things i mean wouldnt you think not to do it after you heard about so many deaths occuring and cases of missing people .. i mean dont have the mind set of oh its not going to happen to me "DONT GO MEET SOMEONE YOU MET OVER THE INTERNET" .. there is no way you can be completely safe on myspace .. with all the privacy it has cause peolple find ways around them .. so basically if you dont want anything to do with that stuff dont get one. and this is coming from a 14 year old .. some older people have no common sense sometimes ..

I am old enough to know and understand what I am getting my self into. I don't need your warning. I have nothing on my profile that could give any information about where I live and all that good stuff :] Nor would I EVER meet with someone over the net nor give them my info and add someone I do not know in person.

When I made my myspace I was I believe 16 or 17 and my parents were full aware of what I was doing and they warned me and everything. So that missing girl knew what she was getting her self into. Its COMMON SENSE.

i trust myspace because i am smart. i pay attention and i don't do online dates... if i would it would be in a public place where people would be. I would do this for a while until i fully trust the person.

theres a difference between being stupid online, and making smart choices online.

MYSPACE ROCKS THE HIZZHOUSEEEEE. i actually met a girl who went to my high schools rival school, through myspace.. we set a date to meet when her high schools bball teams played mine.. she was on the team.. once we met. we ended up having a 4 month relationship.. it was a wicked good time.. so if youre smart about it then it can lead to good things.. and too me its easy to realize a legit stalker or predator compared to an actually real person.. just be safe about it

that's retarded. it's just as dangerous as having an e-mail address. if you're stupid enough to meet some weirdo you met off the net, then that's your fault. just because someone is idiotic enough to do that doesn't mean it isn't safe for everyone. there's ways to make it safe like setting your page to private and only talking to people and accepting people as friends you already know.

Not really. I've heard that there is a lot of viruses that can easily be put on someone's space. Great place for hackers.
