how do i get rid of an msn virus that sends automatic messages to my friends saying "haha, this guy up my street just slammed his $90k car into a telephone pole!" and other random things. i think its a virus but i dont want u guys saying "uhhhh, just use mcafee" because none of the virus scanners pik it up and i have tried them all. is there a way i can remove it just by deleting maybe the odd system process and perhaps a few of the virus's files?

Just format your computer, because if virus scanner didn't pick it up, your stuffed.

Have you tried "system restore" to a time before it all started
and can I have my candy now :-)
