Hey, Spaceguy. I also use a Sundisk for my camcorder. I then use the usb flashdrive to download it to my computer. If anything, it uses up more of your memory (if you download the info onto your computer). But, if you need more memory, go to your computer store (we have a computer store in Vegas called "Fry's", it's huge) and buy an external memory for it. You just plug it into your computer. You can pick one up for about $20 bucks or so. It's very simple to hook up and it will provide you with the extra memory you'll need. While you are at it, don't forget to free up your Ram on a regular basis, as well as, defrag your disk and registry regularly. Clean up your Temporary files also. It all helps to free up unwanted files, junk files, etc..As Far as the flashdrive, you can keep it seperate from the computers memory or download it. I download mine and reuse the Sundisk. I use it quite often at my Studio and events. Email me if you need help.

No memory stick is like Cd or floppy or zip drive. U can store your important files easy and speedy way. U can carry anywhere(portable). That's the main function of a memory stick. But you can fix permanently in your computer like hard disk. But that is not advisable.

the space on the flash drive will not add to your existing hard drive. flash drives are kinda like floppy diskettes of earlier time. you plug them in and save your files on them then you can carry your files with you so you can open it or access it on other computers.
