This is not a Ram problem. If there was a problem in the ram, your pc wouldn't boot. Apparently, while fiddling around with the ram, you have accidentally loosened the hard disk IDE cable (its a flat cable connected to the back of your hard disk with the other end attached to the motherboard). you just have to open your cabinet panel, and ensure that the hard disk cable is plugged in properly.

This is not a RAM problem. This means that the system cannot find any disk to boot from. Sometimes people leave non-bootable floppy disks in by mistake. If you did, just take it out. If it's still happening, then the hard drive is either bad, or a hard drive cable got loosened--probably while you were switching out the RAM...Good luck!

The message means that the computer is not finding the hard drive. Is not a memory related error.

Check to see if while working on the memory you might have loosen one of the cables at the back of the hard drive or where it plugs into the system board.

You could have messed up or sparked your ram, inserted it wrong or snapped something when doing the extraction of the ram.

is there a chance you disconnected the hard drive ide cable or power cable? check all your power and ide or sata cables and try again
