Use iTunes. It is compatible with both Mac and PC.

1.) Download iTunes software for free from Apple.com
2.) Import your songs from your favorite CDs into your library.
3.) Create a playlist of your favorite songs (ensure that it is 80 min. or shorter, CD-Rs generally only hold 80 minutes of music).
4.) Click "Burn CD"
5.) The program will prompt you to insert a CD, do so now.
6.) Wait for it to burn, and you should be all good.

Enjoy your music :)

Depending on what programme you are using you need to:
a) Have the list of songs you want to put on the CD
b) Choice an audio cd which is about 1h and 30 minutes or so depending on the lenth of the song
c) Insert the disk after loading the programme yoiu use to burn the disk e.g Nero
d) Select burn an Audio Cd
e) Then add the tracks
f) Then Burn

Hope this helps

Hi. That is several questions, all of which depend of what software you plan to use. Most modern CD players can play mp3 files, the most common. You Windows Media Player has a function for burning CDs built in, as does iTunes. Copy music files to a playlist and then try to 'burn' the playlist. You may have to experiment a bit.

I agree with the asker, it would be great to get it in SIMPLE language, that we could understand...all this 'burn' this, 'download' that....but HOW ? Burn means copy right? So why not say copy this? The people answering are all presuming that we know HOW to do this? I am 60, and have this laptop, but haven't a clue how to make CD's or 'download music, shame really, but no-one is explaining things step by step.

Well if you have I-tunes you can make a play list of the songs and press Burn Disc in the lower right corrner. If you use Windos Media Player you can go to Burn and make it there. Or you just can explore your aalll programs on you computer and see if you have a CD burnner. (P.S every thing but the I-tunes thing is for PC)

I assume you don't have Nero software installed. WMP may not be able to convert your CD files. neyway save your music files in 'my music'. Load the trial version of 'NCH' software. It will allow you to rip and burn your music files to mp3 say, compatible with most CD players. (er..why are you bothering with a stand alone CD player anyway? just as easy to download to your moby and use a docking speaker system)

first you choose all your songs you want and put them in a folder.
then you get a blank cd and put it in your drive. it may pop up a screen then let it load and you open the folder and it may upload itself.
if i help im glad i do.
