That is going to depend on how large each picture is and that can be determined by how many megapixels the camera is.

A MB is 1024K so if your pictures are 512K each you could hold about 64 of them.

Depends on the resolution quality of the picture. Most cameras have three or more different resolutions. If you switch the camera through its resolutions, it will normally show you how many pictures it has left at each resolution. Do that with the camera empty to get the maximum for each resolution.

it depends on the # of megapixels of the camera because that determines the size which determines how many pics can fit.
On a 5 mega pixel camera it can have about 16 pics

depends on the resolution of pictures thus the size of one picture!
