512 MB is one fourth the size of 2 GB
512 is half of 1 GB which is 1024 MB
When purchasing your usb drive pay attention to whether the drive is rated as high speed or not. The 512 MB one may be high speed and the 2 GB one is not. That could explain the difference in price. Also check out cutomer reviews before you buy. Some are more dependable than other.
Good Luck.

512MB is a half of 1GB (1GB = 1024MB). Maybe the 512MB card can be with more technical features than the 2GB. that should make the price higher.
anyway, 2GB is with higher memory. 512 maybe offer more advance features. If there's any, considor all of them and make a decision.

512Mb is half of a gigabyte.
2Gb is 4 times the size of a 512Mb. If it's cheaper, go for that one.
