In 2004 I got a Dell inspiron 1150. A few months later it needed a new motherboard and fan.
For the last two years it's been so slow it's unusable. They've tried everything!
- reinstall OS
- memory upgrade and by the way i got fatal errors from my new dell memory card which they replaced for another one, which gave me the same error!
- change windows setting
- delete unecesary files
- last week they put in another fan
- last night they put a new harddrive, processesor, motherboard, RAM, and another fan, and guess what????
it gave me another fatal error and then it doesnt recognize the CD to reinstall windows.
You'd think customer support would be helpful? No they refuse to realize that computer is defective and must be replaced. Regular customer support gave me the special claims unit which continues to invent issues just so they don't have to replace it. Then every time I say enough is enough they say ok I'll call you back in 20 minutes, and then I'm waiting hours! AH!!
