How do I figure out what version of Internet Explorer I have??

click where it says Help, then click where is says about Explorer

Well, if it is a old Gateway--like the one I am using right now--Explorer 6 is probably it for you. I use Windows 2000 on it, it is a P2 processor, designed for Windows 98.
Just because if it old--not a big deal to me--my old computer never crashes, and stays connected.
If you are using XP then you probably are using Version 7. Windows updates should have it updated to its highest level.

Hi Bon, do you have the instruction booklet that came with it?? I know someone out there can help you. Sometimes on the back of the tower or the desktop you might find some numbers that can give you a clue the what year it was made, and what kind you do have,..I'm not much help, sorry.

do what browndog said, open internet explorer go to the help menu, and choose about internet explorer, it will show the info there.
