Which ones do you recommend or where can i get one. I might need a commercial one. This is for a motel. I wanna make sure the whole property is covered.

Well, we use Proxim and Motorola Canopy as well as some Tranzeo Units.

To do this correctly you really need a wireless gateway controller to setup so that a sign in page appears and your uses enter a username and password to access the system
*alot of the hotels etc use the room number for usename and a password of the day or just the same password for all etc.
These controllers can be built into the accesspoints or into a server for the system. You will normally need more than one AP. Probably one to two per wing or floor so you want AP's that can be interconnected.

You may be able to find some Orinoco/Proxim AP2500's which are basically hot spots in a box. Have the user controls built into the software for the AP and house two radios per unit.

I would purchase a Apple wireless extender. its about $99. If your motel s pretty big I would recomoned getting two. It will find your wireless signal and then extend it about 100 ft.
