I have created a powerpoint presentation in which I have inserted my own sound file clips. In the custom animation menu I found the location is C:\...\desktop\presentation...etc. I don't want this to be my location as I am uploading this folder to my web server and don't want the location to be my C: drive. I don't see where to edit this??

Hi,

If you are using Mac PowerPoint there's a feature File > Save As and choose type PowerPoint Package. This creates a folder with a copy of your presentation with all of the links correct.

Mac and Windows versions have File > Save As and you can choose Web Page or HTML. This creates a mini web site that you can upload to the web server.

If you want to mimic the Mac PowerPoint package feature in Windows, first create an empty file folder. Then make copies of all the media files and put the copies into the folder. Then copy the powerpoint .ppt file into the folder. After you have done this, you have to delete all existing media links and re-insert the media files. If you have media files already in the folder before you put them into the presentation PowerPoint will make a relative link instead of an absolute link. Then upload the entire folder.
