As to be Windows Microsoft firewall. Actually it is not a true firewall, because you are only protected from incoming rogue packets. A true firewall protects incoming/outgoing. All your personal data is not secure on your system. As it can go out without your control.

You require a two way firewall. Suggust you go to start, security and turn off Windows firewall. And install the free for home personal use Zone Alarm. You will have to way protection, and is leak proof. (I use and test once per week with software for leaks). Test 100% leak proof.
