Every time major updates are downloaded on my computer and its restarted nothing works right. Its a mess. I manage to return things to normal after a couple of hours and about 3 or 4 restarts. Why does this happen every time. This time 6 updates came in from Microsoft and what a mess. Otherwise I have no issue with my computer. Anyone know or have this happen to them?

I live in Idaho, and At home we have Cable One, internet, they are charging us $43.00, but no more, because, we got a letter for them, saying thanks and bla bla bla, and from january they are going to charge us $46.00 (monthly.), this is going to be the second time that they rise the prizes in less than 8 months, so. I would like to know, if someone know or have a better and cheaper internet company here in Idaho (Twin Falls). This company, is not so bad, the speed is ... regular, but I hate that they are always increasing the prizes.

I know how to change the font color, size, and the font, but sometimes when you use a light color you can not see it....like the color pink or yellow. So how do you change the background color?

Hey Guyz, I've been pondering bout this statement - If you were given a choice between these specs for your computer, which will you choose? Please give valid reasons for your answers.
You can have either:

Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 (1.8 Ghz) with 2 GB of RAM

or

Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 (3.0 Ghz) with 512 MB of RAM

Which will you choose?
I know both processor and RAM are important but in this case, which is a better choice?

I want to build a computer for my mother for christmas present. She only use computer for internet and I want to run vista ultimate on it. What is good combination of part that are inexpensive. I have dealt with high end alot but I never built low end computers so little advice could help. Although it is low end I want the computer be able to do good at what it is built for. Meaning not become laggy in vista and run internet fine.

Sea Monkey
Netscape Browser & Explorer


Now i know Netscape & Mozilla is sort of the same but I find Netscape to be more secure than all of them.

I use Internet Explorer very little (besides it won't open with the DEP stopping it so much ::shrug::)

I am having a problem with validating my website. Every time i validate it, it says 'This Page Is Tentatively Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict'. I am using xhtm 1.0 strict and http://validator.w3.org validation service.

after validation:
The uploaded document "index.html" was checked and found to be tentatively valid XHTML 1.0 Strict. This means that with the use of some fallback or override mechanism, we successfully performed a formal validation using an SGML or XML Parser. In other words, the document would validate as XHTML 1.0 Strict if you changed the markup to match the changes we have performed automatically, but it will not be valid until you make these changes.

I have a data table that I will want to filter by date and then copy to the report page. I want the user to be able to input the data on the report page and then initiate the macro. The macro should reference the date on the report page and set the filter on the data table to match. How can I do this?

Ok, I'm working with Dreamweaver to design my church's website (on my Mac), and I finished the site yesterday. I published my site to the web and found that everything was working perfectly when you go to the website. I viewed it on my computer, my husband's computer and another friend's. Today someone with a PC came to me and said it wasn't working... I went into the site on a few other PC and over half of my images aren't showing up!

Has anyone encountered this? Can anyone tell me if there is any sort of HTML I need to add for the site to work on both a PC and a Mac?? Help Please!!!

Problem is the product ID page requires 5 sets of data and my cert. of authenticity only provides 4 banks of data. I have rebooted before without problem.

Hope this is the correct forum. Here is my dilemma. I got a new desk. And my key board to the tower cable is short. Cannot get to the center of the desk. So, my question, do they sell adapters similar to extension cords such as we use for electricity in the house. I am serious in this question

Want to move the keyboard for my conveience.
