I am looking to buy a printer for my t-shirt business I am unsure of what to buy the hp9800 or epson 1400
I been told the ink for the epson cost more

Uh, both are refillable so it doesn't really matter that much. However, HP ink seems to be more readily available in multi-packs, esp. as Costco and such places.

So what do you use the printer for? Just print out the stuff for the silkscreen prep? Laser's faster for that.

EDIT: you *do* know that real T-shirts are SILK SCREENED, right? Transfers are for onesies and twosies.

Instead of printing them, why not use some sort of heat transfer film. It's way more durable.
