I bid on a product, and lost. I was offered a second chance on the item. but the person who "Won" the auction gave the seller positive feedback on that auction.

Im not trying to "Ruin" anyone. He gave me the second chance not long after the auction ended. And im not pissed i didn't get it, it's really no big deal. but i do think it is wrong. and it was only one item he was selling. But i reported him. I will fight for the consumers rights on eBay!!!!

yes you can, it's called shill bidding and is illegal on eBay. You can file a report with eBay. Go to the home page, under help and look up shill bidding under s. It should point you in the direction where to go from there and they will look into it. They take that stuff seriously....

You don't have to prove a thing, they have all the account information, you don't. If they can link the two, they can/will get kicked off...

I would be careful, with reporting anyone you were not 100% sure about. How can you be that positive about bidding up the price with another account? Had several days lapsed before the 2nd chance offer came thru...or was there more than one of the same item and it was not listed as a Dutch Auction....It is too bad you lost the auction...but trying to ruin someone because you lost is just wrong...

Yeah that happens all the time. People set up two accounts and will bid on their own items to get you to keep bidding, then when you stop, they retract their bid. They have a few things in place to try to stop this, but the best thing to do is report it.

yes u can, in fact that is a common scam that goes on at ebay. Some lady created a whole page about people doing that and ebay wants to know about something like that

well end of the day who ever bids for it and wins HAS to pay for it.. so they are silly in the sense of giving ebay commision for the sale, if thats the case..

I've heard of people doing it, a friend asked me to bid on one of his items, I refused simply because if I was the winning bid, I'd have to pay for something I want.

people can fake feedback also sadly, by getting friends to up it for them.

I don't quite understand what your saying... But I sort of do.

Yes I think there is a way to report someone. Did you say he was basicly bribing \ cheating to make sure he kept it?

If so, Somehow contact eBay and tell them about it.

Hope this helps =)

YES, you can report anyone, BUT, Ebay is slow and has so many "rules" that getting anything DONE about any kind of problem is unlikely.
