and which one do you prefer to use?
I have:
Mozilla Firefox
Safari
Internet Explorer
Opera
Sea Monkey
Netscape Browser & Explorer
Now i know Netscape & Mozilla is sort of the same but I find Netscape to be more secure than all of them.
I use Internet Explorer very little (besides it won't open with the DEP stopping it so much ::shrug::)

u1bd66, i guess I'll download the AOL browser on this computer. I tried it when it was first released for a couple of years and i wasn't all that impressed. I'll try it again.

I have 3 browsers on my PC
1. Internet Explorer (its just there, its allways been there, i dont use it.)
2. Firefox (its good, but not my favourite, I use it every now and again, i downloaded it so I could compare some sites.)
3. AOL Browser (by far my favourite, i don't know why so many people don't like it. It has all the best bits of IE and Firefox in one browser, great multi-window thing like firefox, secure like IE and FF, Nice User Interface, no problem with sites being messed up unlike FF because some sites were designed for IE only, and finally it has a better Favourites than both FF and IE.)

I'm a web developer and have a variety of browsers on my machine;we have to test on all different platforms to try to ensure that our websites work more or less the same across all platforms. Of these the one that stands out for getting the web standards right most of the time is Firefox. IE 7 isn't bad, but IE 6 is appalling: it can't even get transparency right.
If you want to see what everybody out there is using check out:
http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp where there are some stats on what percentage of people are using what browser.
If you fancy a laugh go to: http://tredosoft.com/Multiple_IE where you can download and run old versions of IE alongside your latest version (might be PC only though).
For personal use I'd stick to Firefox everytime.

Collect 'em! Trade 'em with friends! I have all of those on my computer! Plus Avant and Amaya and, by the way, several releases of Internet Explorer; going out to fetch Konquerer this afternoon. (I'm a website designer: I have to test for cross-compatibility.)
My browser of habit is Firefox. I might be persuaded to switch to either Opera or Safari except that, they don't handle Google Toolbar, which I MUST have!

Firefox is the best (though I have IE as well).
Firefox is better in every way including, installation woes, look and community, tabbed browsing, cool new features, security and performance. The winner is clearly Firefox 2.

I have Firefox. with IE I found that on certain websites the images wouldn't load properly and I couldn't change font sizes/colors. firefox is much better to me.

Firefox is the way to go!!! Nothing better, IMO. IE is way too integrated into Windows and that is a security risk that I am not willing to take.

I have Firefox and Safari.
I prefer Firefox because of the add-ons. Sometimes it freezes up, though, which can be annoying.
