Is there a software to look for broken links in my website?

If I have 1,000 links pointing to other websites, it gets overwhelming to make sure my links are not broken. Is there any software that helps doing this?

YES there is an extension for Firefox...it only checks the validity of links on any webpage (not the entire site).

Also you can use xenu software for finding broken links
