Ditto the above. You can't get it off, once it's there! In other words, you can't control the folks on whose website a copy of your name resides.
If *I* have a copy of your name on my website, and if Google then searches and catalogs my website, then your name is both on my website, that's two places right off the bat. You'll have to find me and find Google and persuade both of us to erase your name. Fat chance of finding me! And the site will likely stay indexed on Google for quite awhile! Even if you DO find me and get me to erase it. Meanwhile, somebody else, with a "robot" looking for names, found yours, and made a copy...and on, and on.
That's why, it's EXTREMELY important, never to place important personal information ANYWHERE on the web!!! Like, don't place it in somebody's blog (including your own). And remember the ol' programmer's rule, "Never place, in an email, something you wouldn't be willing to post on a public billboard."
Or, "Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you."

Unfortunately, employers and schools always search your name to see if anything comes up. Its like having a criminal record. Its permanent. That's why you should always use an alias.
