COMODO Firewall Service Freezing on Start up?

Question

After installing COMODO Firewall 3.0, after reboot computer freezes on startup when the COMODO service is being started. If I disable the service with msconfig everything is fine. I thought it might be windows firewall blocking it, so I disabled it, no help. I have not tried to stop Avast! from running, or windows defender, yet, could either of them be blocking the service? has anyone else had this problem? I have searched to no avail.

I forgot to add, I do not want ZoneAlarm, it doesn't have enough customization, and COMODO ranks #1 for leak tests.

if you go to comodo forums it is quite common turn off windows firewall uninstall comodo firewall then reinstall keep an eye on cpu usage if cpu is 100% uninstall reinstall once you get it right it stays right its a bit tricky to get right the first time nice firewall worth the effort can slow things down though

I have Comodo Firewall on a few different PCs, and have not had any problems with it freezing a PC on startup (although it is slow on my Pentium III laptop). However, I am not running Windows Defender on any of my PCs (I have not yet adopted Vista except in a virtual machine); I am running either AVAST or Avira, and Spyware Terminator, on XP SP2. I am using the latest version of 3.0, 3.0.13.268. Have you contacted Comodo yet, or tried disabling WD? Also, what version of Windows are you using?
