From what I've heard from computer people, those registry cleaning programs don't do what they say they'll do. Some computer techs say the programs can actually create problems.
You might try uninstalling the cleaning program first by clicking Start, then go to the program in the "all programs" list. Use the product's uninstall feature.
Reboot. Go to start again, then click on search, in the lower portion of the list. At the all files and folders part, enter the name of the program and then click search. Any left over files will show up. Delete them, and your machine will be free of the program.
This will not hurt your computer or your programs or files, it will simply take out the registry program.
Then run defrag. Then run scandisk.
This will clean out a lot of stuff, especially if you haven't done it for a while.
Again, none of this will hurt your computer in any way. This is all first basic stuff that needs to be done, before you address the script error in Outlook Express.
If you still have problems, you may have to take it to a computer shop. The other thing you can do is make double sure all your files are backed up, then format your hard drive, and reinstall your programs and files. That definetely WILL get rid of bugs.
That could be scary, but it's easy if you follow directions, and the worst thing that could happen is you get stuck and end up taking it to a computer shop anyway. It wouldn't cost you any more money for the fix.
To format: Put in your Windows disc and reboot. Watch the monitor. When you see "Boot from cd" at the bottom of the screen, push enter. There are simple walk through instructions. I suggest you delete the hard drive completely when the option appears. (Don't worry, your files are backed up and you have all your software, although you'll have to reinstall it.)
The Windows program will install itself from there, you just need to watch and click a few times until it's done.
Again, if you get stuck in the format/reinstall phase, you can always take it to the shop, but trying this first is cheaper, and you won't damage your computer.
Talk to a computer tech about the registry program before installing it again. My advice is not to ask the manufacturer or their online help stuff first. There's too much of a chance that your headaches will continue.
If all this stuff freaks you, and you can afford it, call a tech first.
Good luck.

First do this....Go to: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
Download and install CCleaner. (uncheck add Yahoo Toolbar during the install-Sry Yahoo). Then create a CCBackup folder in your "My Documents" Folder-close the folder.
Open CCleaner and run the cleaner repeatedly till it reads zero bytes found., then go to Registry on the left, then Scan for issues, fix issues and always back them up to the CCBackups folder (if you break something it only takes 2 clicks on a backup to go back to where you were), and fix all errors, rinse and repeat till no errors found. Now go to Tools on left, then Startup in the middle and check programs in your Windows Startup folder-clean as necessary by highlighting and using Delete entry...but do leave your AV running please.
Now go to: www.java.com, update Sun Java...restart puter.
Same for Flash Player/Shockwave player at www.adobe.com-restart.
Then go to Windows Update/Microsoft Update and get all appearing update...Critical/Optional/Hardware drivers (if you lose audio/sound after updating...simply go and rollback that driver later). Now restart and then run CCleaner again.
Dump Reg ClnFix and demand a refund. CCleaner won't break your software and it's free!
Good luck.
1 more thing, update your AV run a full scan, then go to: www.bitdefender and run a full online scan w/ the scan link on the left please.

Just let her know that your a part of his family too and that you have a responsibility to your husband to participate in family gatherings at his parents home also. Try to visit both places on the Eve yours in the am and his in the afternoon. You have to be assertive in your conversation to make her aware that this is how it will be from now on. As for your family, I think having traditions and story telling is something you;ll miss when it's gone, so try to accept it and be glad your family has this. Its hard for your mom to let go of that, but you can make it easier if you tell her what your going to do and tell her well in advance. PLan, Plan, PLan and split the time.
