I just built a new computer and had some issues doing so, so I didn't set up RAID Iike I wanted to. Windows XP's preinstaller only recognized 127gb out of the 250gb on each HD. So I figured trying to get RAID working at that point wasn't a good idea. I installed SP2, and it sees my 250gb now, but I had to put the space beyond 127gb on a new partition. So, I have 4 partitions, which is really annoying. Anyway, I'd like to get RAID 1 going. My motherboard (ABIT IP35 Pro Snake) has a built-in SATA RAID controller. When I set this up am I going to have to wipe my HD's and reinstall Windows? Will I run into the same problem of it only recognizing up to 127gb? Any advice is appreciated as this will be my first time trying to set up RAID. Please don't advise me to install Vista by the way, I'm not considering that as an option at this point. Thank you!

I left my hotmail account open on someone's (a guy I am dating) computer. And, let's just say that there are some emails about him that I don't want him to see. So, when I got home, I went right to my computer and logged into hotmail and deleted all of the emails. Then, I continued to change the password. The question is, did the changes I made (deleting, changing password) take effect on my account on his computer or could he have viewed continued viewing all the info. unchanged?

For example on RealPayer or WMP I can pause the video to the image I want... how do I make that image into a picture?

I have a video where a historic family picture is shown... I have no access to the actual picture so having a way to turn the paused or still image into a jpeg or other format picture is the only way I see to have this picture. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

Whenever I try to open Internet Explorer, I get a runtime error message for the program iexplore.exe. It started as an intermittent problem, but has now become chronic. Mozilla works fine. Since this has been happening, I also get a message when I am shutting down about MSASCui.exe. It says that Instruction at 0x03035ac0 referenced memory at oxo3o35ac0. The memory could not be read. I wrote to MS about the problem and got a reply that I could pay them goobles of money to talk to a tech person either by phone or chat, or I could contact my comp manufacturer. I am running Vista Home Premium, which means that I can't just reinstall IE, since it is part of the Vista package. My comp is a Toshiba laptop purchased new in January with Vista on it. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it without spending goobles of money?

It is gone. I was deleting some unsed files, and apparently it got accidently deleted. All my wordpad documents can not be opened...they are rdf now I think.....

1. It is not in the recycle bin( and if it was it would have been deleted aswell)
2. It was not found using "run"
3. I have no system restore points(they were deleted too)
4. the microsoft website was no help

Hey everyone, well... I have a problem again !!!
Well.... I downloaded Open Office and I created a great SlideShow and I wanted to save it so i clicked File -> Save as and then I named my work and clicked Save and then it came up with a message saying that there was an error and it couldn't save my work for some reason.
I tried saving my work as a different fle format but that didn't work as well !!!
Well, I've got three questions
1) Is anyone else having this problem?
2) Do you know how to fix the probem?
3) Do you jnow any other free softwares which I can use?
I know about Microsoft PowerPoint but you have to pay and I don't really like using free trials.
If you have an answer to any of these questions please write it down, thanks so much

I have an older (but good) video monitor I'd like to use for video editing to mirror the final output. But on my newer computer, it only has DVI outputs on the graphics card...

My video monitor only has the option for a single coaxial video signal in (not a BNC style, it's just 1 video port in) - that looks like a standard television coax cable connector...

Is there any way to down convert the DVI signal to a single video cable for this? I know the quality loss will happen, but it's just for fun. I can't find anything, only dvi->bnc type of things....Thanks.
