No idea what your specific problem is!!!

Please re-post and describe your specific problem, with the program name and error messages (if applicable) and a description of your PC, the hardware device that is causing the problem and operating system.

If your machine hasn't completely given up the ghost, reboot the darn thing to see if you can re-create the problem, taking careful notes on everything you do along the way. Write down any error messages you encounter and don't leave out any of the "technogobbledygook".

*** OPTIONAL:

Even better, capture a screenshot of every error message you get. If you don't already have a favorite screen-capture program (like MWSnap), use the one inside Windows:

Press ALT + Print Screen to capture the current window, open Paint or WordPad, select Edit > Paste, then save the file in your documents folder with a descriptive title, such as "Error message when trying to access My Documents.jpg."

That way, you can send us links so we can see for it ourselves.
***
Then, we can try to help.

An existing peripheral plugged into a different socket can be enough to trigger this. It ought to have told you what hardware it found. Windows updates installing a new driver can also cause it. If it's all working OK I wouldn't worry.

If you have XP or Vista and plug in a USB device it will automatically be recognised and installed. Sometimes, after a power failure or being bumped, a device will change settings and the message about hardware being installed will come up.

If windows had done an update it could just be a device driver, 15 years wow, I had a 486 on the net once, but it was a pain.

is this happening everytime you log into windows ? or just once it happened ??

well it may occur when you plug any USB drive like pen drive, or sometimes it may also occur when some drivers are re-installed by windows automatically....if its occuring everytime then it can occur due to some driver problem or virus problem.
