My mouse will freeze on the screen and not move until i reset it but then it only works for a little bit and this is extremely frustrating. Does anyone know what i could do besides buying a new one?

In addition to new drivers, yours could be, like mine, one of those little communicators. That is, it needs to "connect" to its little friend that hooks in to the USB port (a little item that's about the size of a thumb drive). If so, MAYBE (but not for sure) it'll help to turn off the mouse then turn it back on and click the "connect" buttons on both (mine has a connect button on top of the little item that plugs in and a connect item on the mouse itself) and let them re-establish their "friendship".

You might also go into Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Mouse ... and diddle with the settings there and see if you get some results, messing with sensitivity and click speed and such...

replace the mouse and installation its driving force. Get one with a 0.33 or middle wheel. i'm assuming you have a sturdy antivirus, a firewall and a minimum of four antispyware: a. Lavasoft's advert-conscious b. safer Networking's Spybot seek & wreck c. Microsoft's AntiSpyware d. Javacool's SpywareBlaster

Maybe go to the manufactures web site, and get new drivers,
and try that.
