please help macbook mini dvi to dvi no picture?

i just bought the mini dvi to dvi connector. hooked it all up and went to dvi on my tv and have no signal? is there anything else i have to do?please help?

You don't need a DVI adapter, it comes with the Mini. It does come with a DVI to AVG adapter though.

Read The Friendly Manual (RTFM) for your Mac AND your TV.

Connect the DVI cable that came with your Mini directly from the Mini to your TV, no adapter needed. Then, select the correct video source on your TV.
